More than five dance groups performed a mix of jazz, hip hop, contemporary and salsa. Three students from our Artists for a Cause network sang solos during the event!
In addition, attendees brought a can of food as our way of introducing the Chautauqua community to Dance for Food!
Thank you to Arielle Pedersen, Ava Schmidt and Olivia Bosaw for sharing your talents and helping to spread the word about A4AC in the St. Louis region.

Participants and audiences were asked to bring in nonperishable food to support local food bank, Circle of Concern. More than 100 lbs. of food was collected!
Special thanks to Mary and Arielle Pedersen for advocating for Artists for a Cause Inc. and for adding a food drive to this cultural event in order to meet a critical community need.

Ginger Carslake worked with several elderly residents, helping them to create visual art in a therapeutic environment. She instructed them in water color and guided them creatively go they were able to benefit from the positive and healing effects.

Members of the cast of 2016 Singing with the Stars have become so engaged that they want to get more deeply involved in other A4AC programs! On June 15 they gathered at The Lynmoore at Lawnwood to deliver a beautiful performance to the residents as part of our Therapeutic Arts program. We thank you and are so happy that you are using your talents to help others.
